What are The Periods and Stages of Permanent Makeup Application?

Before the application, the skin is cleaned with antiseptic solution and then to the area to be treated, the anaesthetic cream is applied, and the skin is waited to be narcotised. Then, the mineral colours which are determined according to the skin and hair colour of the person are placed into the upper layer of the skin with the help of the sterile and disposable needles. This procedure takes approximately 60 minutes but may vary according to each area. The application can be repeated after 3-4 weeks and retouched.

What are the Points to Be Considered Before and After Permanent Makeup Application?

It’s recommended not to go to the tanning room until 2 weeks before the application. It’s recommended to come without makeup before the application. The person should not be exposed to the sunlight for 8 days and high factor sunscreen creams should be used. The person should not go to the tanning room and the treated area should not be exposed to water for 24 hours. The procedures such as rub-peeling should not be applied for 2 weeks. The area with the permanent makeup application should be moisturized with the moisturizing creams recommended by the specialist. The application can be repeated since the mineral paints can disappear by the time. The permanence period of the permanent makeup may vary according to each person. The important factors here are the skin structure and frequency of moisturizing.

What Are the Side Effects of Permanent Makeup Application?

After the permanent makeup application, crusting, oedema, swelling, redness, itching may occur. But their effect is reduced by using soothing and moisturizing creams. Since the colouring procedure is newly performed, the treated area may be dark in the first days. The darkness may be lighted by the time and colours are placed exactly in the upper layer of the skin. The reactions occurred after the application are normalized within 1 week or 10 days. Since the colours used in the permanent makeup are minerals, the risk of allergies is at the minimum level.
